Benalmádena tries to face the crisis.

Benálmadena Council has announced a reduction in three municipal taxes in order to fight against the crisis.

Ownership Council Tax (IBI, Impuesto de Bienes Inmuebles) period of due payment limit will be 31st October, instead of the current 1st July. And any owner who pays it by his bank account (standing order) will be able to pay it in two partly payments (5th July and 5th October).

Buildings, Fittings and Works Tax rate (ICO, Impuesto de Construcciones, Instalaciones y Obras) will be reduced from 4 % to 3,75 %, including some determined bonus.

Municipal Capital Gains Tax ("plusvalía", Impuesto sobre el Incremento del Valor de los Terrenos de Naturaleza Urbana) rate will be also reduced, from 30 % to 27,5 %.

Any owner, seller or buyer in Benalmádena will be glad to know these last news about cutting municipal cost.
