One Company Court in Málaga, all what we have.

Only one Court is dedicated in Málaga to deal with company matters, including increasing insolvency proceedings, not only companies ones, but families that get in this because they can not pay their mortgages and other monthly instalments.

Spanish Insolvency Act 2003 establishes a legal proceeding, the creditors meeting, in order to face the insolvency situation of a company, which means the company is not able to attend its debts.

The point is this Court receives every day many insolvency applications to start this proceeding over a company or family (apart form other company cases); the number of applications is so high that, in May 2008, the Málaga Company Court was working in six more times briefs as recommended by the Justice Administration Body (CGPJ), with all the undesiderable effects this fact implies.

And the future does not appear better, the forecast is mortgage unpayments proceedings and insolvency applications will increase between 200% and 400% in Málaga.

The needing is clear in a city like the one we live in, as much business we had, and we had a lot some months ago, as much attention we require, other view of the situation will be wrong.

The Judge of this lonely Company Court in Málaga says clearly: "If the Court does not work, our economy doest not work, then the employment will not work at all".
